SSD is expensive..The max size you will find for your budget is 256 GB..The reason they use in Ultrabooks laptops(here no blue ray or dvd writer) is size is smaller and no platter so no vibrations...no heat.
[size=4]HDD is cheaper....You can buy 1 TB for your budget. it will have platter heads..so some heat is produced...[/size]

So finally remember one thing to make your decision....SSD is a flash-memory storage...While HDD is a magnetic storage (Thats why it is cheaper)
