After completing our X std exams... we drifted apart to different destinations to pursue further studies... Social networking was not as wild as it is today, those days ! And that created a gap between us, with no contacts, no communication of whatsoever ... But she did made such a lasting impression on me that she remained as my bestest friend ever and I chant her name whenever my other friends enquire on my best buddies in life.. Whenever I take the name of Vennela , I always wonder - "Does she remember me? Does she still consider me as her best pal? What is she up to now?" N a series of unanswered questions swirl up in my mind.. Until one day... I have got a pop up in my office desktop via our communicator... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hi Sitara" And there it goes.. A big shock ! It's none other than my best friend Vennela ... ! I have asked her what the hell is happening.. How come she knows that am working for the company and when did she join our company and her whereabouts... Vennela replied - "Your classmate in intermediate was my brothers classmate in engineering. We are pretty close and once in our casual chats, I told him that you are my friend and he said that there is a girl in his class with the same name and that's how we have discussed further about you and I have come to know that it is nothing but you ! Since then... I used to ask him about you and your whereabouts and he used to take bribes from me to tell stuff about you.. He is also not sure of your contact details but he knows from common friends with you where you are studying and in which company you have got job! Then, yeah I happened to join this company few days back and am searching the directory and pinging ones with your first name and here it is.. I have got you !" I was so so so happy that day.. couldn't believe what had just happened.. ! I was jumping with joy and met her and we have exchanged all those days we have missed together I have experienced the same warmth, the same comfort level, the same serenity that she had in her, the first time we met while schooling days. "I still remember the words n the support you have rendered during that debate competition" told vennela and I wondered did I really made such a longing impression on her that she still remembers that moment ! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our locations got changed, whatsapp now rings quite often and we keep bumping whenever destiny decides... Those chats where in we pour out our hearts.. That shopping spree that we once had... n yeah at the end of shopping, we could see that we have zeroed up on the same set of dresses And now comes another surprise via AFDB.. via a PM from her friend... i have started wondering how the hell does someone knows about me where in I have no idea on their existence.. more over how can one identify me from my posts ! This girl is not even my friend and I have not seen her but she could still identify me! I have asked Vennela the same and she is shocked too as she doesn't know that either her friend who MSG'ed me and myself are in some public forum and AFDB is something that she is hearing for the first time ! She had a chat with her own friend to confirm the same ! Vennela told me how her friend knows about me and that made me feel so special about myself.. "I tell my friends often about you bangaram... never realized the impact... ! And coming to this friend... I keep on telling the chats we both have...how independent you are...your stand about marriage.. how you see things in your life... what qualities you consider when you look for a life partner .. and listening to your views, ideologies and the strength you have shown against the odds in your life, she looks up to you with high regards!" I never realized that my friend vennela too talks about me quite often with her own friends like the way I do with my own set of friends... She defines me more than I know about myself and she makes me feel so good and special about myself.. I guess it's her own reflection that she sees in me The world is too small while our friendship is too huge and destiny keeps on reminding me what friendship is in the form of vennela.. ! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luv you gal.. for being my friend .. my reflection... and making the world n thyself so special to me, to be with ! You were and are there for me , no explanations needed. I don't know how else to explain it. I'm so thankful that destiny placed you in my life , and this will last forever (proved time and again ). You are the most influential person in my life , and now to many of my friends.Everyone that knows me in person knows exactly how much i talk about you and how important you have been in my life .
