The release date of Pawan Kalyan's much-hyped and highly anticipated movie[i]Attarintiki Daredi[/i] ([i]AD[/i]), which was slated to hit the screen on October 9, has been preponed by two weeks. The makers of the film have taken a hasty decision after a video was allegedly leaked online over the weekend. They have requested the viewers to watch the film in theatres and encourage anti-piracy movement.
According to reports, almost 90 minutes of the film [i]Attarintiki Daredi[/i] was leaked online on Saturday night. On her Twitter page, Samantha who is playing the female lead in the movie, tweeted, "Devastated to hear about [i]AD[/i] being leaked... please wait for it to come to the theatre... Ninety minutes of the movie is released on YouTube by some unknown persons who have shocked the whole Tollywood film industry. According to available information the first half of the movie is leaked by some sources last night. It can also be seen that the movie was also downloaded by the visitors.
Attarintiki daredi was scheduled to be released for Dussehra, on October 9. But with the leaking of the movie on YouTube, the film unit is planning earliest release of the film and if the rumors are to be believed, the movie will be released on September 27. They are also trying to remove the movie from YouTube. The producer of the movie BSVN Prasad is planning to file a case against piracy.
Attarintiki Daredi is made with a production cost of nearly Rs. 40 crores. It is common that the piracy of films is released after the movie is released. But the new movie was leaked online even before it hit the theatres it is said that the CD’s of the leaked film are being sold in southern Andhra Pradesh.
Though there is no information about the persons who has leaked Attarintiki Daredi online, it is believed that the some people in the post production team are responsible for this. The online links of the movie are being deleted as the Film Chamber responded fast. A case is filed with the police. Earlier, few dialogues of the movie were also released online on YouTube. Telugu movie industry is requesting people not to encourage downloading the film online and fight piracy. They also requesting to fans of Pawan Kalyan to help catch the people behind it.
