Ssrs Help Urgent - How To Assign Value To Parameter

I have a report to be develop which has diffrent paramters....

one of the paramets has 500 values in it which should show up at the start of the report so that use can select one among them and get the report back.

My question is how do you get this values from query before running the report....


I have seen available values....which has dataset which i linke dto dateset which i used first ...

and value = the field which i used... and same with label....
but its getting the error ....can you please help.... how to assign value to parameter

waht is teh error ur getting if its a datetime parameter ...check your parameter type paian screenshot lo general tab midha click chesi datatype chudu...if its text..change it to datetime(just example ki...) and then feed that particular value type from dataset

nuvvu nee report lo by default konni values chupinchali anukuntunnavu...then dont click on available values...just check default values tab..and if ur getting it from a dataset...select that dataset and the column which ur trying to assign it to

aa report status anedhi next paramter....deniki dhaniki attachement em ledhu kani cascading valla atala adguthundhi anatav ?? ....and there is no dependecy..... its all individual
