The reason for that option is to drive the political parties to select better candidates. It is really very good option. Budhi unna party second time vere candidates (good ones) ni nuncho peduthundhi ani.

ee option ni easy gaa mis use cheyyochu. any seat(mla, mp) winning candidate ki vachey % less than 50 untadi(true in 99% of cases).

exact rule telvadu kaani election commision lo okka rule undi.
i think 2000 people(or may be more) registered voters election commision ki okka candidate meedha complaint isthey aa candidate disqualify avuthdadu.
same is the case with MP candidate.
