In one of the interview, this question was asked by the interviewer, his answer was..

cinema baagoka pothe.. nenu chepthe choodaru.. baagunte.. nenu cheppinaa choodatam aaparu ani..

I don't agree with this point. Anyway naa opinion evadiki kaavali..
But if you take recent hit movie Chennai Express, would it make that much huge money with out proper publicity?...ee kalam lo movie aadali ante promotion compulsory....Best example IPhone, there are many phones better than Iphone but reason for IPhone market is because of aggressive publicity.

anyway.. PK movie is different, fans will promote.. for him.. and lot of fan celebrities like Nitin, Vennela Kishore, Maurthi, 3vikram etc are enough..

Will Smith, Christian Bale, Daniel Craig ilanti top hollywood actors ye valla movies ki promote cheskuntaru for months before release.......... Cinema baagakapoyina......... With good promotion 1st day collections will make a huge difference for his producers............ PK personal gaa promote chesthe aa range ye veru.

Fans compulsory gaa chesthaaru bhayya but hero kuda chesthe movie reach ekkuva vuntundi...nitin, vennala kishore, Maruthi la market Pawan ki vunna market lo 1% kuda vundadhu.
The reason I compared movie with phone, everything is a product that gets released into a market..and same marketing strategies will be used by business analysts to promote a product..anyways if you don't like it, then nenu danni records nunchi tolagisthanu :-)
When chiranjeevi was in top-form even then he used to promote his films and other heroes also do the same..
Tv lo vacchi oka ara ganta matladithe, Producers, distributors ki naalugu dabbulu vasthaai ante hero cheyyali..
