Help: Career Advice Needed!

Hi DBians,

I have been working as a developer past 3 years. I have a dream about living in America. I cannot afford to move to USA on my own or in any basis. I am planning to learn any technology which has huge opportunities in the USA. The only way i can achieve my dream can be through an On-Site opportunity. Please suggest me any technologies or tools which are apt for me. I am not interested in coding jobs.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Suggest me technologies that does not involve coding/programming. Any tools like Testing tools, Sap modules or Business Reporting tools would be better. I just want to move to Administration or Testing side other than Development.

My work as a developer didn't involve in coding in any of the latest trends. I worked on a legacy tool which has no scope at all. And i am not proficient in any languages like C,C++ & Java. That is why i wanted to set course on different path.

programming languages lo chaala competition untundi... so i would say odds in onsite opportunities for programming is very high...

i think you should plan for some enterprise applications ...

i can think of Salesforce / Oracle Fusion... and secondly indian IT companies lo join avvu not foreign MNC's ... like IBM,CA,CSC,Deloitte...

aa enterprise application lo ayina.. vaati own frameworks and scripting languages with their own Object Definitions untaayi.. you should be exposed to that frameworks....

they are mostly techno functional domains...from a developer perspective.. enduku antey u wont develop anything from scratch.. already built application ni mostly customize and configure chesthaaru according to the customer needs.. so understanding the architecture of the enterprise application according to the Module/Domain is the foremost thing...

bottom line for the question u asked.. yes they do involve programming to certain extent... but not as extent as compared to...the way a regular Java/.NET developer work
