H1B Change Of Status Denial, Got Stamped At Chennai

Hi friends,

I guess you all remember i posted this before asking for help regarding my friends Change Of Status Denial.

Thanks for your sugestions at that time.

[b]Current update[/b] i have now is, my friends was forced to go to chennai india for h1b stamping (bcoz he got his f1 stamped there) befor oct 1st. his interview was not straight forward as he even expected.

An american lady took interview,,his interview process

VO: asked for docs
Friend: gave docs

v: after going through for 2 mins at docs,,,lokked at him like as if he was a thief... told my friend to wait and went inside
friend: tension started and thought its all over

after some time an another lady came out at my friend and asked him to come inside,,, he went inside and 2 officers asked my friend to show all his I20's, client letter. vendor letter, paystub's, w2's, goldie bacon course curiculum, bla bla bla

later asked my friend to go out and sit in hall..

later VO came to him and said ur h1b is approved.

below r his case details: hope these help for someone if they r in same boat

april 1st h1b applied

june 10th rfe

june 29th replied rfe

august 30th got h1b approved but change of status denied

his rfe:

1) An official copy of your mot recent school transcripts
2) Proof of tuition payments made by the beneficiary for the 2012-13 academic year
3) Receipts for books, parking passes, and school supplies, for the 2012 Fall term and 2013 Sprint Term
4) Copy of your student ID for the 2012 Fall term and 2013 Spring term
5) Evidence that you have not taken more than one three-credit or less, on-line or distance education class per session, term, semester, trimester, or quarter of study.
Also, since you are participating in CPT, please provide the following:
1) Name of the course and course code in which you are enrolled that requires a CPT
2) Evidence that immediate participation in CPT was required for your graduate studies
3) Evidence that your current major and that CPT is an integral (essential) part of your degree program at Goldey-Beacom

4) Letter from IIS (CPT employer), explaining your job duties and pay
5) Copy of IIS cooperative agreement between IIS (CPT employer) and Goldey-Beacom
6) Documentation from the designated school official at Goldey-Beacom certifying that your postgraduate study is considered a full course of study.

Cool man, congrats to ur friend.
basic ga he can go any US cosulate even though they mentioned Chennai.
