psycopk Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 It has turned to be happening talk of town and indeed has captured everyone’s interest even amongst those who hadn’t turned towards Hindi flicks. Ram Gopal Varma is drenched in an acrimonious situation with CBFC’s ban on National Anthem aired in promos of his upcoming ‘Rann’. Vijaya Chawak, secretary in Central Board of Film Certification had strongly condemned the distorted version of National Anthem as it violates guidelines 219 of Section 5B2 of the Cinematography Act and the lines Jana Gana Mana are a violation of the National Honour Act of 1971. Producers of the film are already on the way of holding talks with CBFC officials as they aren’t clear about official announcements. Meanwhile, Creator of controversies RGV speaks out, “If everyone presumes this to be publicity, they aren’t wrong. Naturally, anything that departs from filmmaker by terms of interviews, promos, visuals, musicals and whatever may be; they’re for stark publicities.” Possibly, Ram Gopal Varma and producers of the film anticipating the fate of this song will have the results by today.
