Oh I did mention that movies are for mentally inferior people. They are in no position to decide who a genius is. Take that hatred :)

have you wondered who made the laptop you are typing posts into? No. Because they don't matter. Finally its the product tht matters, not the makers/designers, except for some ridiculously expensive branded ###### like Apple.. etc..

Movies should also be treated the same way ani chepthunna. the makers don't matter. They are too pricey, and the entire distribution model for movies is flawed ani chepthunna.

given the amount of popularity they have for their mediocre products, the movie makers can do with a little more equally horrible critics of their 'art' and their business model.

because i think films are overpriced. They form all sorts of unions, theatre unions, artist unions, to charge public high ticket prices, and lecture us on evils of piracy :)

In fact, there's plenty of scope for improving delivery mechanisms and create cheaper contents. like how they are doing for American TV series. I hope Indians get there one day.

I find celebrating a hero's movie collection records quite silly.

Narsayya I think this is not your cup of tea, applying your universal broad minded financial egalitarianism mindset doesn't suits to all topics. You are good at enterprenuer ideas so stick to it, I think you are more worried about directors getting good name rather than direction. I think you should prove to the outer world rathen blabbering here if you have really that much fire you show in being honest

Movies in AP are stereotyped and their model and maintenance is one of the most ridiculous thing in the world and people don't bother much about it. But that doesn't mean makers are not good, you can't expect when you are not given enough time and scope from the producers. So this topic is not worthy to drag anymore

why don't u offer an alternate idea instead of attacking me incoherently.

yeah, these directors are useless. with some professionalism, and easier delivery models, we can see an flurry of newcomers make better movies than these people ever made and at cheaper prices.

These guys are simply blocking way for others by encouraging all worst industry habits.

Lets hope for a more aggressive version of netflix in India.

Dude, I have nothing to prove to anyone. it's only a discussion. don't take it personally. If you guys want to spend money in theatres to watch movies, please do. But I'll download stuff and watch it on computer until I get to the US, after which I'll subscribe to netflix or hulu. I've even learned how to make top class popcorn recently. No more any reason to go to cinemas.

ippudu kaaka poyina eppudaina vallaki adhe paristhithi. They will lose their jobs, eventually. and will have to find other ways to make money.

That's the fact of life. Auto workers, farmers, vellandariki jarigindi ade ga. theatre lo pani chese vallu emaina special category people aa.

world's gonna change so rapidly in the next 20 yrs whether you like it or not. Its currently unsustainable.

Best scenario, all work will be done by robots, few owners will be incredibly rich and heavily taxed to subsidize the rest of the population. artists will be working for free, coz govt will have them on a retainer.

worst scenario, few rich owners will keep the rest of the people in poverty and as slaves. This may be unlikely.
