yeah, these directors are useless. with some professionalism, and easier delivery models, we can see an flurry of newcomers make better movies than these people ever made and at cheaper prices.

Lets hope for a more aggressive version of netflix in India.

Assholes are not these directors.. they make a living from that.. assholes are those families in Tollywood that control each and every moment in the industry.
It is impossible to change this mass hysteria which is just like a religion, movie makers for Sampoornesh babu movie are my close friends they tried 2 yrs and found nothing but depression. Things will never change until this mass hysteria goes away.

Eventually the rich have to pay more, to avoid getting killed in uprisings. And the labour will have to learn to live with job losses, and be on govt doles.

formula is not in the storyline, but in the setpieces, characterization, motivations, etc.. Its very rare to see unique movies these days, even in Hollywood. So it'd make sense to cheapen the delivery system so people aren't ripped off at the boxoffice.

This model is going to fall off pretty soon. Just read hollywood reporters, there's a clear sign of lesser people going to movies, except for summer blockbusters. read about how low budget movies are simply not a proposition anymore for a theatrical release, even if the director was Steven Spielberg. Top producers and directors predict that the number of movie releases will dramatically fall in the next few years, and entire production will shift to TV. Even TV networks aren't safe, with Netflix and Hulu. Almost all movies are making losses, and the distribution and marketing got too expensive with this model.

India lo, auto work asalu sarigga start ee cheyyale, haha.. farming maatram, tractors ekkuva use chese chota, farm labourers takkuva. Or do you prefer to exploit poor labourers and make them work for less than 100rs per day in the hot sun?

Jobs in an economy are always temporary. Focus should be on increasing productivity, and not on hanging on to jobs.

I believe there's coming a stage in our civilization where most of the work can be done through automation, given the extraordinary advances in computer sciences mostly. Human labour will simply not be needed. Either this, or total war to keep humans busy.
