Not speaking for all but I will be a scumbag if you as a programmer consistently produce untested code and proclaim your work is <some percentage> done, has no idea on how to set and adhere to schedules without my inputs and multiple reviews, will pick your nose in meetings (I noticed this with Indian engineers when working in Microsoft too, in an open plan office), will wear unwashed socks to work and stink up the entire room,will demolish a [color=#ff0000]working area with your pappu and oily avakkai[/color], will chew with your open mouth when eating at your desk, will, in public, speak in a language only a few of us understand...
OTOH, if you produce tested code and adhere to schedules and have a general sense of cleanliness I'll probably ignore you to the level of me not knowing when you come in to and leave work.

doesnt matter.. i have team with people from spain and latin america....

they are not well professional in english.. so when they sit to discuss business they get in to mother tounge...

same with us.. when we sit together we talk in the language we are comfortable in...

in mulinational company.. that does business worldwide.. it will be ridiculous that every team member should communicate to individual team in english
