I admire Sonia G...

Though she does n't belong to this country..she does know the custom and culture here...though she lost her husband at an early age...though Congress was losing it's credibility quickly when she took over...she was able to bring back Congress into power consecutively !

What an Iron lady...

I know..e thread lo kontha mandi Sonia ante istam leni vallu vachi negatives matladatharu...every body has his/her vice and virtue...manalani teeskelli Italy prime minister ki ichi pelli chesi a prime minister chanipothe will we be able to do what Sonia did? My answer will be absoultely no...

My sincere wish is Sonia should think about Indias' benefits also !

Coming to Modi , I admire his strong will , his thinking towards welfare of the society ( unfortuantely this is towards one particular section...it's my perception ) !

Both are capable of taking the country to the next level...Modi should quit his fundamentalism and Sonia should quit congress's trade mark politics !

nuvvem communist vi ra babu. neekante nene communist la unnanu. hahaha..

elite assols em chesthe manakenti. ee roju sonia ayina, repu PM ayyaka Modi ayina elite loki vastharu. valla wrong policies ni(too many) chati choopinchali gaani, one is better than the other, enti?

Communal Violence Bill, Multi Sectoral Development Program allocation to only Minority concentrated districts, Right To Education, Sorrounding herself with Non-Hindu member advisors. Ivanni fundamentalist attitudes/policies kaadu antava?

Sonia is as communal as Modi. But she's chosen the right community to shield her from that tag.

Again, Modi communalism thappu ayithe, Sonia di kooda thappe, considering majority of poor in India are definitely Hindus(by number atleast). And no country can afford the kind of secularism standards that India is being subjected to and still develop.

Whatever communal policies Modi comes up with, parliament lo fight cheskovachu, like how CVB was fought. Anthe kaani, kunti saakula tho Modi oka monster laaga project chesi vaadini elagola bar cheyyali anukovatam democracy ki andam kaadu. The other side is equally ugly.

Koncham logic vaadu vayya...She is a great administrator or ruler anatledu nenu...Even Chandra Babu Naidu by forcing NTR to step down from the power , got TDP in his hands...TDP ni CBN build chesada ? does he able to do what Sonia has done ?. TDP ki state lo Congress kante ekkuva activists and registered members unnaru...CBN enduku power lo ki telekapoyadu , CBN knows every thing in AP where Sonia knew nothing about India when she became the president !

I am talking about the will..not capability of administration ! The need of the hour is a strong willed person ruling India...

specific ga cheppalante.

SEZ started by NDA govt(only 6 of them, all above 1000acres in area), was revised under UPA to include private developers to develop and sell land to industries. So every major industralist got into real estate, grabbed land with state govt support and started SEZ, all of which are not operating under even 50% capacity now. Some SEZs were built in just 10 acres land. And exports did not skyrocket with increase in SEZs. It was clearly a horrible policy which benefited only the politically connected.

The only good thing Sonia did was increase minimum labour price through NREGA, which forced employers to pay daily labour more. But with strains on infrastructure, like power, logistics, not everybody was able to take on that kind of increase and it caused inflation, the worst in recent times.

The poor are not poorer now. They have more money than ever before, but its not worth that much as it used to be.

One thing Modi will definitely do, is create lesser Central policies and give more power to states, which will decrease wastage of resources through NREGA, FSB, etc. Interesting times ahead.

compared to Americans whose median incomes have fallen in the last 25 yrs, Indian incomes have only risen in the last 15yrs.

inflation gurinchi already raasanu kada, malli naaku chepthavu enduku? Inflation means people are getting paid more, but since there are inefficiences in our system (infra, logistics, banking), the pay rise is not uniform. But overall there is a rise in standard of living in India.

How many families you know whose standard of living decreased in the last 15yrs? Almost everyone has had an increase in their salaries.

May be you like to return to the old times when you can get labour for ₹5 to clean toilets. It's not going to happen. People are not slaves.

The reason for earlier boom is cheap credit from low interest countries like US, and now with bond yields increasing in the US and investment climate degrading in India, the credit died. And industrialists who were used to it, panicked. Given that industrial loans are somewhere close to 11% in India scares them, and the banks also stopped lending much to most of the sectors after increase in Non performing assets. All this has nothing to do with the govt of the day, except there lackadaisical attitude towards tax reforms, some of which were retrospective.

15k tho oka middle class 2 kids chadivinchaleka pothunnadu ante, its because of the rise in school fees.

Why not better state schools? because govt has no money. Why no money, because tax collection in India is crap. First sarigga andaru tax kattali (especially sales tax, property tax), Also tax rates should be higher for getting more revenue from the system. As long as people regularly break rules, don't pay taxes, no point in blaming the govt for all their problems.

We need more govt support in education, health care, etc.

Every country is pumping money into their system, including the US, Canada, Britain, and mainly Japan. But don't they see the kind of inflation that India is seeing, because they have developed good systems of policing, logistics, banking etc, that routes this money into a stable investment. Even there there have been asset bubbles, but inflation is yet to hit them.

Without inflation, we can have as well have zamindari system, and work as slaves for him. Although the inflation should be controlled better, and the govt doesn't have the tools to do it, yet. It'll be a long process, but things are definitely changing. UPA is worst because of its communal policies, and nothing else, according to me.

Seriously, I admire neither. If i have to choose for my vote, I'll go with Modi. After seeing what congress did to the state.
