******* 15 REASONS WHY TELANGANA STATE is bad politics and worse economics for TELANGANA PEOPLE *******

1) The formation of stable govt in Telangana state is very unlikely in the near future. Parties like MIM, TDP , BJP , Congress , TRS with all of them having a good base in their own way(community backing) in their own districts. It will be the ugly coalition politics, giving a bleak chance of stable/strong state govt. It could well be a reflection of Jharkand where there was president's rule imposed 5 times in past 7 years.

2) A severe power crisis awaits the Telangana state to be formed, with only power capacity supporting 60% of the current needs, it will have to manage 40% from other states, Since there are no grids passing through Dandkaranya plateu ( it is unlikely to build one also), it will have to depend n neighbouring states like Andhra and buy at a very higher price. Its predicted that, a more increase of borefed farming/Lift irrgiation is likely, adding further load on power. A severe power crisis can be foreseen atleast for next 10 years, making it worse in summers and scanty rainfall seasons.

3) With the increasing trend of Coalition politics in centre, A state with less no.of MP seats is always looked down. It's very hard to bargain a good deal to the advantage of it's state, unless it has the numbers. From the last 20 years, there are successive govts have been coalition govts ( UPA, NDA,UF) etc and bargaining politics are seen between Major allies, this will be detrimental for bagging big projects, institutions, officees in Telangana.E ven with 17 MP seats, its unlikely that any party will get more than 10 in the current scenario.

4) The River water sharing issues will become more complex and perplex. Tribunals long awaited judgements have to be waited, the tribunal shares will be revisited and Telangana + Seemandhra will get a less water share than what United AP is now getting. Excess Flood waters will be at Telangana disavantage.

5) Majority of the People belonging to Bc/SC/ST might not reap the benefits of the state, As a case study, The current assembly has 38 Reddys out of 117 in Telangana, which is 33% for a population of Just 5%. Velamas with Just 0.5% occupy 10% Assembly seats. This will not change for all practical purposes. The CM even though could be a rich Dalit, but will be controlled by party presidents belonging to upper castes.

6) Naxalites will sport a strong comeback in districts like Khmmam, warangal, karimnagar etc. Out of 12 Top Maosists leader of this country, 9 are from Telangana. This is the very reason behind their undettered support for Telangana so as to stage a comeback. The proximity of TG to dandkaranya plateu or Red corridor will be one reason and the formation of a new state and new police dept, will make it an easy game for Naxals to play hide and seek between two different Govts.(Just like how they did between Nizam govt and British govt in 1940s) Especially the forests in Andhra will be a breeding ground.

7) A rise in BJP is very likely in Telangana, this will definitely result in a communally charged environment, for eloctoral gains , there could be more communal violences, revolving between MIM and BJP. This will create a bad impression of state including Hyderabad.

The lack of Human resources from Andhra/Seema, will be a big setback to the corporate companies coming to Hyd, Investments will take a severe beating to Telangana from corporate world. Corporate companies may shift to neighbouring cities like pune, Chennai, or the yet to be formed capital.

9) The people of Andhra/seema won't patron Hyderabad as they did so far, their money which untill now have played a major role in growth of hyd, paying huge taxes to registration tax, property tax, etc will come to a grinding halt. Interest for them as a measure to buy real estate properties, buy housing, etc in hyderabad will come down by a great extent, this inturn will effect all the indirect employment opportunities. This is clerly indicated with the drastic fall in land prices of areas in and around Hyderabad, A land price will always be an indication of change in development.

10) The Major companies owned by Seemandhra people, will shift their headquarters from hyd to the newly formed capital, there will be a drastic fall in many companies operating from hyderabad, if not production from hyderabad. This will lead to unemployment issues for the people of Telangana.

11) A new Capital, to be built in Seemandhra if designed carefully might be on a modern traffic free city with careful town planning. This will be supported by centrally sponsored TAX free zones or TAX concession zones for many industries, this will be a trap to all companies operating from hyderabad.

12) Lack of Access to ports will be very detrimental to many companies. A new road tax, a new tax, by Andhra govt, will become in a disavantaged situation to industrialists in general and small-scaled industries in particular of Telangana.

13) Tier two cities like Warangal, Khammam , Karimnagar etc , will survive on the growth of Hyderabad, now that, Hyderbad itself will have to take beating, the tier-II cities will also have to bear the burnt.
14) Tourism sector will take a severe beating in Telangana, mainly because of lack of Holistic tourism, promotion of tourism will become an aggressive campaign In Seemandhra, in presence of Beaches, Temples, Forests etc.

15) Last but not the least, with all these above issues an average Telangana citizen might not be able to get the same command and respect, outside Telangana. Inevitably a state's progress is linked in a way to the respect a person enojoys. As we have seen this in northern hindi speaking states, where citizens are treated indifferently.
