ping to the particular host which is not responding
2)sh ip int br check the ip adress and its subnet mask.
or the interface is up or down
3)checking the routing table
4)sh access-lists
look at the configurations and see is that Acl is not allowing the particular host

also try to reboot that....low level lo ante..you can check DNS of the network..
