u r right on target dude. Criticism is considered unpatriotic in our country. America didn't become a great country just overnight, the people over there have changed that country to what it is today. Its the land of the free and encourage talent and innovation from all parts of the world and risen as a economic and global power. There needs to be lot of courage and integrity at every level to achieve such a amazing feat.

We should ponder why people leave India and run away to foreign lands. The problem is there is so much infighting in our country that our people and system ensures that a person with talent is never able to survive.
Our people themselves are the enemies of each other and that hatred is so much that we not even hesitate to put a foreign lady on the top most position of our country. Then we go and celebrate independence day and wonder why we are slaves for last few hundred years.

We are a lost civilization but hopefully a strong leader emerges and cleans up this mess once and for all.

My view:

India was great but not anymore. we screwed up allot. especially in the last 10 years. god only can save us. I'm sure.
