It is good to have.. But unless if you start working on a project you will not have any functional knowledge.

ABAPer can get a position in any of the modules in SAP but if you start learning one module you may end up getting job in other.. Nothing harm to learn.

To be more clear... Concentrate on the technical stuff like RICEFW objects, Workflows etc...and all those try to get an overview on functional screens.
Other than SAP HR technical most of all the modules are kind of similar to each other.
