he he decent question

my answer: indian diet is primarily comprised of carb, lil protein n fibers, if you look at an avg american diet, it comprises of 70-80% protein(meat), 20-30% fiber(vegetables) n 10% carbs(rice n oder sugars).

protein diet tine vaallaki body mass increase avutundi, but mostly muscle mass, dats da reason y they r lean inspite of taking heavy diets n even if no work outs. where as typical indian diet lo carbs ekkuva untaayi, u can eat carbs but when u r on a carb diet, u need to have lot of physical activity, otherwise carbs gets turned into fat n gets accumulated at the fat storage areas, typically belly.

if u r comin to the beer point of view, beer has more cals dan other concentrated alcoholic beverages(atleast to my knowledge), if u luk at the way americans take beers, they go to the bar n dance, which burns off the calories right there, where as typical indians drinks beer + home made biryani to save few bucks off unleashing their fat constraints.

coming to asians other than indians, yes they r on a carb diet, but still their protein n fiber intakes r good as well, helping them to sustain their body stats.

hope this ll make u clear..

also correct me in case im wrong.
