my guess.. you might be retrieving too much data from SQL or external web service..

paging vaadadam better if you are able to repro.. like [b]Skip [/b]and [b]Take[/b] in Linq

our application is a windows application bhayya, using WPF
nenu issue reproduce cheyyadaniki chala try chesa, no use.
tried to search for individual giving just one letter
brought back may rows but not exception.

web.config lo memory size penchu maayyaa.....i encountered it and fixed it...

i think it is "output size" property...something like that...try it and lemme know... %$#$

i encountered xactly the same issue.... i was getting the data from a webservice call as Json string...at tyat time..

i don't know about .Net bhayya...but mostly this will be a server problem...try to see the configuration settings in server config file...
