Akkada matter yentante..Oscar anedhi mostly American (Hollywood) ni drustilo pettukoni arrange chesina award. English being the Universal language (also the quality), most of the awards go to them. Sankara Bharanam, Swathi Muthyam laanti cinemalu choodaalante bhasha tho paatu bhavam kooda ardham kaavaali. "Nuvvu naaku Nachav", "Malleswari", "Jalsa" laanti cinemalu choodaalante Telugu Bhasha vochi theeraali. The same thing is applicable to German, French, Norweigian movies. Hollywood is succesful in making movies like Titanic, Jurassic park etc. They all involve loads of money investment which only Internationally used language like English can fetch. This is my view. 1

Its because of the Regional, Cultural, Sentimental attachment

[/quote] I think you didn't understand my actual meaning. When I said German, french I mean all non-Hollywood movies. Yes, no doubt Hollywood movies' standards are the best. But it doesnt mean that other regional movies are not good. Action movies and animation movies - there is no doubt, no 'wood is closer to the Hollywood. But other category movies that have to do with 'Bhavam' cannot be compared with each other.
