OPT started on FEB 04 - 2009
OPT Extension approved for 17 more months from FEB -2010 (untill july 2011)

naa doubt is can i apply for H1 next year ?? or is this year my last chance ?

Since u are already on OPT extension......u need to apply this year
becoz if u apply now you can start of with ur H1B OCT 2010. If u apply next year u will be out of status after July 2011 and H1B will start only in OCT 2011.

I think ksr is wrong....you will have three months cap gap...if the time gap is more than three months then u will be out of status

You can apply next year, but cannot work between July and Sept 30th. Your H1B will be approved only after oct 1st 2011.
