Duration: 6 months to one year long

Job description of candidate

 

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing web pages and Javascript.

•Interactive, Web 2.0 data driven, client facing web sites and mobile web applications utilizing web programming languages such as JQuery Mobile, ExtJS, Sencha Touch, .NET MVC, JSON

•JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 Since getting Sencha ExtJS is difficult, we are looking at resumes with various options as mentioned below: Skillset preference • 1st preference – Sencha ExtJS version 4

• 2nd preference – Sencha Touch

• 3rd preference – JQuery/ DOJO

 

Mandatory requirements/Questions to be asked of our candidates:

 

1.Have you worked hands-on with ExtJS libraries version 4? (NetApp’s project is to use version 4 rather than version 3; older version 3 seems to be a completely different set of libraries than what NetApp is going to use in their project))

2.What’s the major difference between version 4 and version 3 (experienced Sencha developers would know this)

3.Explain your contribution to projects that used java scripting, pick one (to assess level of experience with Java scripting)

4.cite examples where you’ve used object oriented programming

5.Did you use Model-View-Controller architecture? 6.What are the bottlenecks faced with MVC architecture, and how did you overcome them (exploratory question to check practical experience) Alternate skills – JQuery & DOJO : Questions 3 to 6 are applicable.
