New Delhi: An online poll conducted by India Today group jointly with Google, shows Telugu Desam Party gaining if the 2014 elections are held now. The results simply contradict all other surveys done hither to, which showed clean sweep going in favor of YS Jaganmohan Reddy-led YSR Congress party in the Seemandhra.

The India Today group conducted a on-line survey titled 'e-lection' with a definite methodology. The survey was conducted among Indians with access to the Internet, mobile and social media. 

The poll results are as follows:

TDP : 53.1%

BJP : 23.3%

YSR Congress : 13.6%

TRS : 5%

Congress : 2%

According to the results shown above it could be inferred that netizens look for tech-savvy leaders and vote for them as opposed to those who claim mere mass following, such as Congress or YSR Congress. So now Naidu has one job to do, to win the trust of masses, especially the farmers and the aam aadmi or the middle class government employees and then the chances of TDP outdoing their main threat YSR Congress Party becomes possible during the upcoming general elections.

At the national level, the survey found Narendra Modi winning hands down as the netizens voted hugely in favor of Modi supporting his candidature as the next PM of India. 

According to Google survey, 4 among 10 urban Indian voters are online and it means they play a crucial role or become the deciding force of the Indian politics.

Idedo munde veyochu kada....oka clarity vachedhi...........Surveys are very un-predictable.......AP lo present scenario lo especially seemandhra lo  congress damaal........75% will try to jump to ysrcp.......Patha TDP leaders in congress will rejoin TDP.......so it wuld be fight between ycp and TDP.....Inthamundulaa jagan facts baaga decline ayipoyindhi......It titally depends on local leaders......BUt expect cuddaph,konni constituencies of kurnool,prakasham,nellore and few other constituencies......YCP peddaga effect chupinchaka povachu..........semandhra lo TDP has very good chance for 2014......Percentage chepaleem......my opinion
