don't worry, future generations will be 100 times better than we are, just like how we are 1000 times better than our father's generation :)

But the world has changed, and their experiences don't count for much now. It can even be a hindrance some times.. 

 

Just follow the discourse on job loss in the US, false emphasis put on manufacturing jobs (which are never coming back to US with automation in the future). 

 

I see that the world is moving towards data analysis(techniques which are getting better by the day), than believing in anecdotal accounts passed over by tribes, families, etc.

 

I don't see how that won't make us better than our father's generation.

I meant, that everything is quantified now. including earlier generations experiences, and nothing is taken at face value.

There is kick in being fast and furious at the same time there is a a sense of satisfaction in achieving through hardships. With so much analysis we might be missing the enjoyment of seeing the beauty of fireworks rather than just analyzing the chemical composition in it
