Dallas/Fort Worth area is the home for over 10,000 Telugu families and preparations for the Deepaavali Vedukalu-2013 hosted by TANTEX are in full gear. Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX) (www.tantex.org), established in 1986 as a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization to preserve, protect and perpetuate the language and cultural heritage of Telugu speaking people of North Texas. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Suresh Manduva, President of TANTEX quoted “We are hosting Deepaavali Vedukalu-2013 in the ultra-modern Allen Performing Arts center (click HERE), Allen TX, with a 1500 capacity and expecting about ten talented artists to deliver mesmerizing music, dance and comedy shows. I request all the Telugu families to join this unique and fun-filled entertainment event and make it a grand success”. TANTEX Cultural Chair duo Mrs. Krishnaveni Seelam and Mrs. Jyothi Vanam in a joint statement said that “The confirmed lineup of scintillating and talented celebrities is well known through silver screen and Television and ready to enthrall our Telugu community. Among the confirmed artists are Sagar (Nandi award winner, singer and anchor), Ranaina Reddy (Popular singer and heartbeat of the youth with her rap music), Rakesh (Popular comedian, ventriloquist of jabardast fame), multi-faceted and sensational comedian Haribabu, Singer Pritvhi Chandra, Rahul Sipliganj of “Eega” and “Dammu” fame, and the versatile stage performer, anchor Pradeep.
