Farmer  Loan Waiver Scheme

 

How Naidu would raise resources to implement the crop loan waiver scheme.  Our total budget is about Rs.1.60 lakh crore, of which Rs.42,000 crore goes towards salaries of employees and another Rs.26,000 crore towards various welfare schemes. Even if Naidu disbands all the existing welfare schemes, it would not be sufficient to offset the burden of crop loan waiver scheme

 

 

 

Cash Transfer Scheme

 

 

According to Chunchu moham's social net plans, families categorised as the poorest of the poor would be paid Rs 2,000 a month while those classified as poor families will get Rs 1,500. Middle class families would get Rs 1,000 per month under the scheme.The money will be deposited into the bank accounts of respective families every month and cash cards will be provided to the account holders. Over 1.2 crore families are expected to benefit from all the schemes.

 

 

Free Color TV scheme

Chunchu promised a mega bonanza of free colour TV sets to poor and lower middle class families as well as a sweeping social security programme if the people of Andhra Pradesh returned him to power.If implemented, the sops would set back the state exchequer by around Rs 20,000 crore or 20% of the state's annual budget, which Mr Naidu said would be manageable given the "buoyant revenues".
