With asset prices at a high, and savings equally high, India has to depend on western markets to grow. Our system is not inherently bad.. except with all sorts of stupid capital controls, and a very bad labour law. India needs a miracle energy resource proportional to our population to actually grow.. Otherwise, we'll be stuck with exporting low quality goods forever. Its already time to abandon India and seek better places. Media is a complete western creation .. information is West's most powerful weapon... until the world is fed with information from the west, every other person will be intimidated ! But then, we have to accept that they are extremely disciplined I still vouch for India ... tell me some country where a homeless guy can happily sleep on the road

Unless the country is brave enough to infuse capital into the system. Traditional definitions of 'lazy' and 'hard working' no longer apply in the modern world. Both will lose to one with the right connections. Indians are still not exposed to modern world.
