the new chess champion is 22year old.. its amazing how he gets the title by 22... he got to place lot of effort strategy in place at that age.. kudos to him

he's already the highest elo rated chess player in the history..

 

That he'd win was already known. Anand is too weak an opponent for Carlsen anyway.

 

My favourites though are Vassily Ivanchuk, and Vladimir Kramnik.

 

I like Anand for his press conferences, not his game. lol.

 

I was at the venue for a couple of days.. met a few chess players.. Nakamura, Giri.. possible future champions.
