Our Client in Boston, MA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (ASP.NET/UI) for a 1 Year+ Position that can be performed Remotely.

Candidates can work Remotely for this Position.

The Manager had let us know that it would be possible to be able to start a Consultant before the New Year, 2014.

Job Description:

The Software Engineer (UI) is responsible for coding and testing multi-user software applications. Responsibilities include reviewing technical requirements and developing code in JavaScript /JQuery/ASP.NET, for a web based enterprise application. The application delivers scientific computation and visualization capabilities in a web browser interface with an emphasis on modeling and simulation using the NONMEM and R applications.

The key activities for this position include:

•Design user interfaces to meet requirements gathered by business analysts, with mock-ups and prototypes as required.
•Create code that meets design specifications, follows standards, and is easy to maintain.
•Perform aspects of the project Software Development Lifecycle, including design, implementation, installation, acceptance, and transition to support and operations teams.
•Perform and design testing protocols to ensure that the application is fully tested, including unit testing, and system testing.
•Work with business and infrastructure teams in the organization to ensure appropriate project requirements are met.

Required Technical Skills:

•Expertise developing JavaScript /JQuery/ASP.NET applications.
•Experience with Web Services.
•Experience in building scalable enterprise web based applications.
•Troubleshooting issues in enterprise web based applications across web and database tiers.
•Proficiency in Linux, Unix and Windows Operating Systems is Preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing.
•Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of professionals globally.

Required Experience:

•Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise grade applications.

Skills and experience in the following areas highly desirable:

•Knowledge of database design and proficiency with MS SQL Server/Oracle.
