Need Help In Stored Procedure..

I have a stored proc like...

var1 ;

var2;

begin

for loop

Source Table merges with Target table

on (Source_table.<key>=target_table<key>)

and (condition_x)

when matched then

update

target_table.<column1>=1,

target_table.<column2>=1,

target_table.<column3>=1,

target_table.<column4>=1,

target_table.<column5>=1

end loop;

end;

this works fine..

now I want to get the number of rows which are updated and the execution time of the stored proc and store those values in another table..

how do i do that??

any ideas??
