The BJP had promised statehood for Telengana in its 1998 election manifesto but fought the election in alliance with the TDP in the 1999 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Congress(I) leaders from Telangana, including legislators meet at Mahabunagar on Sept. 10 2000 & would adopt a resolution which would be submitted to the Congress(I) president,Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, requesting her to take up the issue with the Central Government.

In 2009 assembly resolution & in assembly YSR clearly said there is no problem in creationT but before that lot issues should be resolved and need to review the consequences if T is created.So for that Rosaiah committe was created .

 

 

Post YSR death we know,--

1. On 09-DEC-2009,In view of KCR Fast  all political parties in assembly agreed for separte T .

2. On 09-DEC-2009,Chidambram Night statement

3. On 10-DEC-2009,All Seemandra leaders resigned and CBN like top leaders blamed central govt decision is not at right time & that too at midnight.

4. Letters,Dramas,Yatras etc by all Political Parties TDP , YSRCP & Congress without  clear stand and solution for T demand.

Before & After 2004 elections YSR stand was 2nd SRC that too to satisfy Telangana Congress Forum (TCF)members demand. There is no such things that YSR initiated the T demand.

Just to Defame YSR without proofs,After 2009 elections lost, TDP & Yellow media started saying YSR is culprit to initiate T demand.

Congress also joined by involving YSR name in CWC meetings & other documents (with out proofs) for political benefits.

 

 

TDP / Congress / YSRCP / Non-Political related members in AFDB etc.Please provide any proofs as such that YSR has triggered or initiated T- Demand.
