Its totally unfair because championships pay a huge money, compared to other events which pay around $100k/$200k..

 

He's also right, that Anand was an easy opponent for him.. He simply is not prepared enough. I would have preferred Gelfand, Topalov.

Anand is a cool guy man.

 

Carlsen is cool too.. in a different way.

 

Anand was always the underdog in this champion.. He's after all playing against, possibly the greatest chess player ever, atleast according to Elo ratings. He knew the most likely result for him was a loss.
