ఒక హిందువుని నువ్వు ఎలా హిందువువు అయ్యావు.  అసలు హిందూ అంటే ఏమిటి అని ప్రశ్నిస్తే, అతడు స్పష్టమైన కారణాన్ని ధైర్యంగా చెప్పుకోలేని పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడింది.  ఈ వైఫల్యమే గందరగోళానికి, అయోమయానికి దారి తీసింది. 

 

ఏదో ........ మనం హిందువులం, ఓ గురువు దగ్గర మంత్రం తీసేసుకున్నాం.  రోజూ గంటో, అరగంటో పూజ చేసుకుంటాం, అవకాశం కుదిరితే సాయంత్రం కొంత సేపు దీపం పెట్టుకుని, పారాయణ చేసుకుంటాం, ఖాళీ సమయం దొరికితే ఉపన్యాసాలు వింటాం, టీవీలో ప్రవచనాలు చూస్తాం, పండుగలోస్తే పిండివంటలు చేసుకుని తింటాం, అప్పుడప్పుడు తిరుపతి వెళతాం ............ కాశీ కెళతామ్  .......  దగ్గరున్న దేవాలయాలను దర్శించుకుంటాం, ఇది చాలదా? - అని అనుకునే వాళ్ళు కూడా లేకపోలేదు.  ఇవన్నీ ధర్మంలో భాగమే అయినప్పటికీ, ఇదే ధర్మం అని అనుకోవడం వల్లనే అఖండమైన ధర్మానికి పరిధి ఏర్పడింది.  

ధర్మం అంటే కేవలం పూజలు, పునస్కారాలేనా?

మంత్రాలు, హొమాలేనా?

గుళ్ళూ, గోపురాలేనా?

పండుగలు, తీర్థయాత్రలేనా?

అసలు ఇవన్నీ ఏమిటి?  ఈ ధర్మంలో ఇంకా తెలుసుకోదగ్గ అంశాలున్నాయా? లేవా? 

అసలు హిందుత్వం ధర్మమా? మతమా? మతానికీ, ధర్మానికీ తేడా ఏమిటి?

ధర్మమే అయితే దీనిలోని గొప్పదనమేమిటి? 

ఇదెప్పుడు పుట్టింది?

ఎవరు దీనికి కారకులు?

 

వీటన్నింటినీ తెలుసుకోవడం ప్రతి హిందువు కనీస ధర్మం, తప్పనిసరి కర్తవ్యం.  

ఓ వస్తువును కొంటే దాని పుట్టుపూర్వోత్తరాలన్నీ అడిగి తెలుసుకొంటాం.  ఓ స్థలం కొనుగోలు చేయాలంటే దానిపై ఆరా తీసి, దస్తావేజులన్నీ సరిగా ఉన్నదీ లేనిదీ న్యాయనిపుణులతో సంప్రదించి, అనేక కోణాలలో పరిశీలన చేస్తాం.  అలాంటిది, మనం ఏ ధర్మంలో పుట్టి జీవిస్తున్నామో, అట్టి ధర్మం గురించి గానీ, దాని పూర్వాపరాల గురించి గానీ ఎవరికైనా జిజ్ఞాస కలిగిందా?  నమ్మకం ముసుగులో ఎవరో ఏదో చెబితే దానిని ఆచరిస్తూ పోవడమేనా?

 

వెలుగునివ్వడం ఒక్కతే దీపం పరమార్థం కాదు.  మరిన్ని దీపాలను వెలిగించడం కూడా. అలాగే, ధర్మాన్ని తనవరకే పరిమితం  చేసుకుని,ఎవరు ఎలా పోయినా నేను మాత్రం ధార్మికంగా ఉన్నానా! లేనా? అని సరిపెట్టుకుంటే సబబేనా.  ఈ ధోరణి వల్లనే ధార్మికులు క్షీణిస్తున్నారు.  ధర్మం పట్ల కనీస అవగాహన కూడా అంతరించి పోతోంది. 

 

మనం ఏ దేవుణ్ణి కొలుస్తున్నా, ఏ గురువును ఆశ్రయించి ఉన్నా, ముందుగా మనకు ధర్మం పట్ల అవగాహన కుదిరితే అటుపిమ్మట భావి తరాలకు ఈ అవగాహనను అందించే ప్రయత్నం చెయ్యగలం.  ఇతరులు అడిగే ప్రశ్నలకు  చెప్పగలం.  వీటన్నింటినీ మించి మనం  ఆచరిస్తున్న ధర్మం పట్ల మనక్కూడా అవగాహన కలిగిన నాడే మనకు ఆత్మ స్థైర్యం కలుగుతుంది.  ఈ ధర్మం పట్ల నిష్ఠ కుదురుతుంది.  ఆసక్తీ పెరుగుతుంది. 

 

గోబెల్స్ ప్రచార ఎత్తుగడలూ, మార్కెటింగ్ తంత్రాలు, డబ్బు బలంతో సత్యం, ధర్మం, మానవత్వాల మీద దురాక్రమణ సాగిస్తుంటే,  నిలువరించే శక్తి ఈ ప్రపంచంలో దేనికీ లేకుండా పోయింది.  టీవీ, ఇంటర్నెట్, కిరాయి ప్రచారకుల సైన్యాల దాడితో వాటిల్లుతున్న ఉప్పెన లాంటి నష్టాన్ని చూస్తే ధర్మానికి గొడ్డలిపెట్టు కానుందని తెలుస్తోంది. 

 

 

ప్రపంచంలోని ఇతర దేశాలు కళ్ళు తెరవక ముందే భారతదేశం సుసంపన్నమై ఉంది.  అందుకు మూలకారణం భగవంతుడు ఈ భూమి పైనే అవతరించి, విశ్వానికి కావలసిన దివ్య సందేశాన్నందించి, మార్గదర్శనం చేయడం.  అలా భగవద్దత్తమయినదే ఈ ధర్మం. 

కోట్ల సంవత్సరాలకు పూర్వమే ధర్మం ఇక్కడ పరివ్యాప్తమై ఉంది.  ఇది ఏనాడు పుట్టిందో ఎవ్వరం తెలుపలేం.  అందుకే, దీనిని సనాతన ధర్మమని అన్నారు.  ఇదే ఆర్య ధర్మమని, ఆర్ష ధర్మమని, వేద ధర్మమని అనేక పేర్లతో వ్యవహారంలో నిలచింది.  ఋషుల కాలంలోనే దీనికి హిందూ ధర్మమనే పేరు నిర్ణయమయింది. 

ఇటీవలి కాలంలో పుట్టిన మతాలు ప్రపంచమంతటినీ తమ పరం చేసుకోవాలనే దురాలోచనతో, పవిత్రము, సనాతనము అయిన మన హిందూ ధర్మం మీద బురద చల్ల జూస్తున్నాయి.  మహర్షులు, శంకర, వివేకానందుల వారసులమైన మనం విధర్మీయుల కుయుక్తులను అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి.  వారు మన హిందూ శబ్దం మీద ఎన్నో, ఎన్నెన్నో అపవాదులు అల్లుతున్నారు.  

హిందూ అనే పేరు పరాయి వాళ్ళు పెట్టిందని కొందరు, సింధు శబ్దాన్ని పలకడం చేతకాని పరదేశీయులు 'హిందూ' అని పలకడంతో, అదే మనకు స్థిరపడిపొయిందని మరి కొందరు ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు.  

ఇలా ఒకటా .....  రెండా!  చాపకింద నీరులా తప్పుడు ప్రచారాలు ముమ్మరంగా సాగిపోతున్నాయి. 

ఈ తప్పుడు ప్రచారాలను విజ్ఞులు కూడా తిప్పికొట్టలేక సతమతముతున్నారు.  మరో పక్క నుండి మన సనాతన సంస్కృతినీ, అది బోధించే ఆచారాలనూ హేళన చేస్తున్నారు.  పదే పదే నోటికొచ్చినట్లు విమర్శిస్తూ, నిజాన్ని అబద్ధంగా, అవాస్తవాలను వాస్తవాలుగా ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు.  మన చరిత్రలను వక్రీకరించి, మన చారిత్రిక అంశాలపై మనకే అనుమానాలను రేకెత్తిస్తున్నారు. 

ఇలా ఎందుకు చేస్తున్నారో తెలుసా ....... ?

మన మీద మనకే అనుమానాలు పుట్టాలని! హిందువుకు తన చరిత్ర మీద తనకే అసహ్యం కలగాలని! హిందువు అనుకునేందుకు ప్రతి హిందువు సిగ్గుతో తలదించుకోవాలని!

ఇలా జరిగిననాడు ఈ దేశం నుంచి హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని సమూలంగా పీకి పారేయవచ్చుననే దురాలోచనతో కుట్ర పన్నుతున్నారు.  

వంద రాళ్ళు విసిరితే, ఏదో ఒకటైనా లక్ష్యానికి తగిలి, అది రాలి పడుతుందనే వ్యూహంతో, హిందూ వ్యతిరేకులు ముందుకు సాగిపోతున్నారు.  పదే.. పదే.. ఈ హిందూ ధర్మం పై దుమ్మెత్తి పోస్తూ, విమర్శిస్తూంటే ఏదో ఓ రోజు హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని సమూలంగా నాశనం చేయవచ్చుననే ఆశతో ముప్పేట దాడులను ప్రారంభించేశారు.  

ఈ దాడిలో హిందూ సమాజం ఇప్పటికే చాలా దెబ్బతిని తీవ్రంగా నష్ట పోయింది.  దీనిని ఇలాగే కొనసాగిస్తామా! లేక, వాటిని తిప్పి కొట్టి మన ధర్మాన్ని నిలబెట్టుకుంటామా? ఇదే పెద్ద ప్రశ్న!

అసలింతకీ మనపై ఇన్ని దాడులు జరగడానికి మూలకారణం తెలుసా ......? హిందుత్వం అంటే తెలుసా......?  నువ్వెలా హిందువయ్యావు ....? 'హిందూ' శబ్దానికి అర్థమేమిటి?  హిందూ ఆచారాల అంతరార్థమేమిటి? - అని ప్రశ్నిస్తే, సూటిగా సమాధానం చెప్పలేక పోవడం. 

ఏదో ....... పెద్దలు చెప్పారు, మేం పాటిస్తున్నాం అనడమే వినబడుతోంది.  పరమ పావనమైన హిందూ ధర్మంలో పుట్టి, దీనిని ఆచరిస్తున్న వారిలో చాలా మందికి దీనిపట్ల ప్రాథమిక అవగాహన లేకుండా ఏదో హిందువుగా బతికేస్తున్న వారి సంఖ్యే చా......లా ఎక్కువ.  అందుకే, ఈ ధర్మానికి తూట్లు పొడవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ప్రణాళికలు రూపుదిద్దుకున్నాయి.......  దీనికి పరిష్కారం ఏమిటి?
