Assembly Elections Exit Polls: Bjp Projects Clear Win In Four States

Dec 4: Exit reports for the states of Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have been a show-turner this year with all the states projecting huge majority for the BJP.

 

8:10 pm: Rajasthan exit polls report BJP having 130 seats, Congress having 48 seats and BSP having 4 seats.

 

8:07 pm: As per Nielson readings, till 5 pm, BJP is clearly winning the game. BJP is having 37 seats out of 70; AAP has 15 and Congress has 16 seats in Delhi.

 

7:33 pm: According to ABP News Channel, BJP may win 138 seats in MP, whereas Congress may win 80.

 

6:55 pm: BJP may win 53 seats in Chhattisgarh. Experts strongly believe that the BJP may have a clear win the Delhi Assembly elections.

 

6:35 pm: MP exit polls report out of 230 seats, 92 seats for Congress and 128 seats for BJP.  Congress to comprise 39% of votes, BJP to grab 43% of votes.

 

6:30 pm: As per Aaj Tak, BJP is projected to win 41 seats in Delhi, Congress may win 20 seats and AAP may win 6 seats.

 

6:15 pm: Although leading, BJP is still far from the half-way mark to form the government. However, one can only give a conclusive statement after 1 lakh votes are cast.

 

6 pm: As per sources, about 1 lakh voters are still waiting to vote, despite the fact that voting time has ended. Latest voter turnout is a historic 75%.

 

5:55pm: Chhattisgarh exit polls are out; BJP has a clear win with 43% of votes, Congress with 41% and BSP with 6% as of 1pm. Out of 90 seats, BJP comprises 44 seats, Congress 41 seats and BSP 2 seats.

 

5:45 pm: Till 1 pm, BJP is reported to have grabbed 32% of the votes, Congress and AAP 28% each.

 

5:30 pm: The first figures of the exit polls are out. BJP is clearly leading with 29 seats, followed by Congress which has 21 seats and the AAP with 16 seats. However, experts say that it is too early to decide who will win the majority. It is also said that the record voting indicates that there is certain amount of anti-incumbancy votes working.

 

5:25 pm: Unconfirmed reports state that the record breaking voter turnout in the NCR has already reached 66%-the highest ever.

Good start for BJP and hope to see Modi in 2014 in the top position.
