It is not just about encroachment. This bill very effectively takes away human rights of the majority and offers no legal recourse to them. It should not be allowed to pass at any cost.

The general game plan of Congress seems to be

1) passing this bill

2) Creating riots in non-congress states

3) Give bad press to state governments and Modi by projecting BJP as the cause behind riots

4) Sending in central forces to curb the violence and dissolve state powers

5) Come out as heros who prevented conflagrations and win 2014 elections.

This bill should not pass in any shape or form. The congress will try and bring in an Ordinance on this soon.

BJP and other regional parties should put their full strength against the bill, if this passes we will see no end to the congress.

But congress is an expert in floor management when it comes to passing bills.. let's hope congress fails in it's wicked attempts.
