Party chief Kejriwal would now have to face the heat after his meeting from controversial Muslim cleric Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan in Bareilly recently to get his backing in the coming elections. It is said that Tauqeer Raza has a big following of Sunni Muslims behind him.

 

 

This is the same man who in 2007 issued a fatwa against Taslima Nasreen, a Bangladeshi writer, over her book expressing a different opinion about Islam. Raza even announced a bounty of Rs 5 Lac for the person who can bring her head. That was not the first time when Raza has crossed all the lines to create a controversy. 1 crore bounty on former US president George Bush was also announced by him earlier.

Raza has also a history of making inflammatory speeches, on account of which he was arrested in 2010 but was later released.

Many people say that it is expected to see some tactical mistakes in its electoral campaign by AAP, but hardly they would believe the blunder made by Kejriwal which not only tarnishes APP’s image but also subsides any chances of his winning. This is without any doubt a big setback for AAP that now has to answer many questions fired from media.

 

The political immaturity or most people may say political eagerness to get into power for Kejriwal dented his thinking in such a way that he was not prepared for the aftershock of media trial who started firing questions against his visit immediately. No to his respite, Kejriwal’s sense of political reasoning too faltered and he made a statement that he was unaware of charges against the Maulana.

thatz why I was not harsh on AAP...I believe Kejriwal is just like any other politician but well educated and can articulate things in favour of him anthe !
