glamy Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 The Lok Satta Party and its youth wing, Yuva Satta, have urged the GHMC to immediately construct bus shelters at 20 important bus stops. Party leaders A. Subhasini, P. Venkateswara Rao and Balagangadhar Tilak submitted a memorandum to GHMC Commissioner S.P. Singh explaining that the commuters were exposed both to the sun and rain for want of bus shelters, according to a party press release here on Wednesday. Areas identified The party had earlier identified 20 centres which needed bus shelters. These localities include Liberty, Himayathnagar, Narayanaguda, Punjagutta, Bagh Lingampalli, Mehdipatnam, Sainikpuri, ECIL crossroads, LB Nagar Ring Road, Sagar Ring Road, Ziaguda, Tallagadda, Lingampalli crossroad, Kachiguda crossroad, Ramakrishna Mutt, Patny, Chilkalguda, Bowenpalli, and Ranga Reddy Collectorate.
