AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) WELCOMES TELANGANA

The new state must belong to all people living in the present region of Telangana without any discrimination

brought to an end a long history of duplicity, betrayal and cynical politics by the Congress party and the UPA on the issue of Telangana. The popular movement for Telangana had made it abundantly clear that the demand for a separate state of Telangana represented the aspirations of an overwhelming majority of the people in this region. Yet, the central and state governments as well as the major political parties in the state continued with their opportunistic and partisan political games and politics of divide and rule. The timing of the decision again suggests a narrow electoral calculus of the ruling party. One can only hope that there are no more twists and unfortunate turns in this story.

Aam Aadmi Party has always maintained that a new state of Telangana should be announced without further procrastination. It has also emphasized that the new state must belong to all people living in the present region of Telangana without any discrimination, that it must effectively protect the rights of minorities, have mechanism to guarantee the security of residents from Andhra and Rayalseema and provide for equitable sharing of water with Seemandhra. Aam Aadmi Party believes that the creation of a separate state of Telangana will help end the bitterness and misperceptions that have grown over the years among the Telugu-speaking people and pave the way for addressing the real issues and every day concerns of ordinary people in both Telangana and Andhra.

Aam Aadmi Party on principle supports the formation of smaller states in the Indian Union as a significant step towards bringing the locus of political power closer to the people. Demands for making governments responsive and accountable, need for redressing administrative inefficiency, and popular aspiration for a better life have set the stage for a new phase of states’ reorganization. At the same time, we recognize that small states are not the real solution to the problems of the people. Only radical political decentralization of power to gram sabha can enable people to strive towards Swaraj and a corruption free India.

I don;t think at this point there were any close chances to CBN in the up -coming elections..

 

People of AP were so dumb in some cases, hey don;t look anyone beyond the local candidate's Caste, C_____, Religion, R_____ , Category, C____  in the MLA elections.

 

Even CBN is not that great Leader in the minds of AP people anymore.. { I mean Overall AP in its current package today}

 

 

SO Its more like . instead of having 2  to 3  - Party structure.. It will become a 4 to 5 party structue which will end up sending a Legislator to the Assembly who just need a ;little more than 25% voters support out of the total votes polled in an election.

 

 

If you got a Good candidate from a Bad party like jagan in the local elections. indirectly these vote share distriibution will end up helping someone like JAGAN..

 

 

Also another factor is in a State like Delhi which is little smaller than 2 to 3 districts of AP combined. AAP can make its presence Felt.. But not in a State liek Andhra PRadesh.. which is so widely seprated in so many lines ..

but for hier biggest disappointment was.. huge losss of vote bank for her personally and also the Gain of that vote bank  by AAP instead of traditional BJP..

 

 

Any how.. Congress got her Lessons learnt. and AAP is not different from anyone else.. they played the same Muslim minority politics because in Delhi there were Areas where Muslims just made sure BJP never gets the magic number needed..

 

 

But this Time AAP played the same card and took those seats away from BJP Again.. by making sure the Bloc of Muslim votes goes in favour of them..
