7. Her guilt or innocence will be decided based on the testimony of the MAID.

The case is very interesting because what she did, she and India feels very upset. Where as it appears USA has followed all the proper rules and procedures for such an arrest, and probably did their home work, like proper investigation and so on, This mentality that you break the law, and you think you will get away with it because you belong to a upper class, is at question. Her father is also a diplomate, and she claims to be champion of the women rights, but pays her maid $3.00 an hour, and GOD knows how many hours maid works daily. Its an unspoken rule between countries not to touch their diplomats. Geneva convention is only formalizing that arrangement, so better not to throw the rule book.

 

India should also invoke sec 377 and arrest gay diplomats. It'll be within its law to do so too.
