Dude, you have to do more research before you write some stupid comment. You cannot compare these 2 directors. They are completely different. I like Del Toro movies mainly because they have good action scenes and special effects. We don't have to think much. They are more like telling a comic book story.
Nolan's movies are more convoluted. Half of the people still think about the plot after they watch Nolan's movie and remaining half especially kids don't even understand unlike Del Toro's. In terms of success, Nolan has much more success both commercial and awards.

another of my favourite director Edgar wright.. if you've watched and Scott Pilgrim vs World, he's the guy who made that awesome movie.
