'i Want Character Not Glamour'

The very purpose of having a heroine in our films is for the purpose of glamour and romance. But there is one actress who feels she is above all that. 

She is none other than Nithya Menen and it is heard that she has made it very clear to all directors that more than glamour, she gives importance to character.

Most of the times, pretty starlets cover up their acting flaws using their sex appeal and glamour quotient but Nithya reportedly states she is getting appreciations for her performance and being compared to Mahanati Savitri. 

Given that caliber, she is reportedly demanding that only those roles that add weight to the story must be given to her.

However, the directors have their own point in it, they say “Nithya’s height is less than five feet and barring her face, eyes, lips no other part can be shown. On the other hand, urban outfits don’t really sit well on her and she looks best in Langa-Voni. Having so many negatives, it comes as a surprise when she demandingly claims that glam roles are not her cup of tea.”
