Eeeh1b extension - visa stamping :


my eeeh1b approved for only 1 year...

I want to go for stamping after my extension kicks-in.

So that my h1b stamping is valid until my extension date.

So naa present eeh1b sep 30th varakku valid.

Tell me:

1. When should i go for stamping , which month and before how many days of my exetension start up ?

2. Which US embassy is better vancouver/ calagry or kingston jamaica?

3. When can i re-enter to US after stamping?
I mean the next day i get my passport after stamping is fine ?

4. Normal ga eeh1b extension enni years istunaru ?

Is that depwnding in client letter ?

5. Eeh1b procesaing time entha for extension ...evaro 1 month plus annnaru ..premium lo chesthe 15 days li result clvachestadi kada?

1)u can apply for extension in april get approval and go for stamping before ur 1st h1b expires.....u shud get it until ur extension ending date.....but ist always best to check with ur employer/attorney on when u can travel and on which i797 validity....

 

2)CALGARY for me...

 

3)generally a h1b applicant can enter the country 10 days prior to petition validity.......if in ur case u travel in oct where in ur extension already started u can comeback immediately after the visa is approved...

 

3)depends on ur dopcumentation..same 1st h1b  process except ur not counted against cap

 

5)again its the same...u can check uscis website for processing timelines...premium is always 15 claendar days....

Dates availability ni chusko..anything is fine if you are going with all docs..PS-Avoid Ottawa few of my frineds had bad exp there

since you are already on h1b, there is no specific time for re-entry current h1b expiry lopu or if ur extension is approve u can land with your visa anytime
