Opt Weeird Situation

OPT revoke cheyyalem and 2nd time masters meeda malli OPT apply cheyyaledu.

 

Malli PHD chesthe tappithe OPT apply cheyyadam kashtam.

 

 

2 years back konni consequences valla OPT revoke cheddam ani DSO ni kalisina, adi cheppindhi you cannot revoke your OPT and you have to do PHD to reapply again ani.

if u hav applied for opt and if your opt is still under process you can cancel the opt application, u can do that, but once opt is issued you cannot revoke that. I believe that the student received his first opt while he is in second masters so logically he cannot use his first opt as the previous sevis would be terminated. I believe your fren shuld approach an attorney to file a case to uscis. about the situ.

nee kosam naa first post edit chesanu. marokkasari chaduvu post ni.

he followed all the steps as per law. when the Old SEVIS ID is terminated he will have 30 days time to leave the country. within this time he got another admission where they need to generate new sevis number since old one got terminated.
