Right now she is acting in Maapillai (means son in law) opposite hero Dhanush and in this film Manish Koirala is acting as her mother in law.About working with Manisha Koirala, who is playing her mother in the film, the pretty actress says, “ It was great fun to work with Manishaji. She is such a beautiful woman and a great performer. We had a whale of a time working together.”When asked about rumors that she is charging high fees for this film, Hansika shoots back and says. “I’m worth every rupee that I charge,” she states, “The people who have signed me have no complaints because I do my work very sincerely.” Some of the money that she earns goes into philanthropic activities. The actor has adopted 19 children in Mumbai and will be responsible for their education and other basic needs. “God has given me a lot and it’s only right for me to share it with those who are not so fortunate. And God willing, in a few years’ time I will be able to help a lot more kids in need,” she adds.If all goes well, Hansika wants to adopt and look after the education of children in a remote village in south Tamil Nadu, where she is shooting now for Maapillai.
