As long as you maintain a valid H1B Status, you are free pursue your education(Full-time, Part-time or Online). To maintain H-1B status, you need to be working full-time(getting paid & being on employer's payroll).  So, you can take any number of classes as long as it does not interfere with your full-time work. 

 

If you work in the same state for more than an year and pay taxes you don't need to pay out-of-state or international student fee, you can just enroll as a in-state student and pay in-state fee which is a lot cheaper.
