our society is fcuked up. and this is what happens when society goes to dogs, excessive focus on money, success, flaunting of wealth..

 

perps ni punish cheyyali.. but talking about this one incident for days is not going to help anyone.

serious discussion must happen why there's a rise of such violent acts towards women recently..

 

Actually it was always there.. large scale trafficking of rural poor women esp from Andhra, KA, Bengal.. but middle class wakes up only when the victim is a middle class woman they can relate to.

 

and they shout for days on TV. force the police to act. you know how awesome our police is, right? They round up few young guys in that area and put them on surveillance and fcuk with their life just for fun.

 

And then, everybody is happy that something has been done. Until the next rape happens.

I remember last year, when I came to Chennai.. there was a bank robbery.. and the perps were found to be from Bihar.

 

TN police immediately showed their racist attitudes by rounding up every north indian poor labourer working in chennai and sent circulars asking for house owners to take local police permission before letting their houses to people from Bihar and UP.

 

One day, a mentally unstable man blabbering in Hindi was even beaten to almost death by locals who suspected him of doing something illegal. 

 

This is why there are processes to follow. Let the criminal proceedings take its course. India is still not a banana republic.
