What if we have an identity column in a table and your new column also needs to have an auto incrementing number? We all know that we cannot use two identity columns in one table in sql server. To overcome this, we write a simple script task to load the data using SSIS. Go through the steps at

Not only for incrementing aa script ni manam kavalsinattu modify cheyyachu kada. Like if I want to generate a column based on length of the Employee Name I can modify the script and generate it.

You can change script task as per your requirement and do anything you want. This is just one example of what you can do...
