My 10 Questions To Dhoni

Recommended Posts

1) Why is Ishant sharma still in the team? Why are other bowlers not getting a chance?

2) How many chances does Rohit sharma need? Proven batsman... Kidding me? on flat pitches? Talented batsman.... dedication is more important than talent. Talent needs to be proven, not certified.

3) Why is Pujara not in ODI team?

4) Why is Gambhir left out? Just because he talked about your selfish game?

5) Ashwin doesn't perform outside the sub-continent. Why is he still in the team? If the reason is his batting down the order, why not prefer yuvraj singh?

6) Why are you not experimenting? WC is in a year and younger players also need a chance to get a feel of the pitch. What if your so called talented players get injured? What if I run them over with my truck?

7) Why did not you talk about the role of your wife in IPL match fixing?

8) Why aren't you grooming a good all-rounder?

9) Are suresh raina, ashwin, jadeja in the team because your company earns on them? If anil kumble was lambasted for his integrity recently, how is your position different than his?

10) If these players are good and need to find their form, why cannot they find it by touring with the India A side!

1. Ishant fits into a "supporting" fast bowler but not others

2. Sharma had sound technique, but India doesn't have better batsmen on bench who have sound technique than Sharma. Same applies to batsmen in many countries.

3. That is a question to selectors because he is not in the squad, also Pujara has proved himself to be very bad for ODIs because he don't accelerate his innings

4. That is once again a question to selectors, and this question is legit. I think Gambhir needs to score better in Ranji

5. This is a legit question

6. Experimenting in Indian team will lead to more chaos. Grooming and experimenting are two opposites and you are asking to do both.

7. Not related to context

8. This is not spoon-feeding, Dhoni is giving enough chances to Jadeja and Ashwin.

9. No, because there are no good replacements for them

10. Dhawan made 257 with India A side, did it help him find his form ?

lol, you are trying to equate people who got many chances with those who did not get any until now. Who was I sharma before that ricky ponting dismissal in the aussie series?

My suggestions for replacements

1. Put Ojha instead of Ashwin, keep Ashwin on bench

2. Keep one among Raina and Jadeja, bring in Pujara to opening, send Rohit to 2nd down

3. Remove Ishant, keep rotating other fast bowlers and select the best

Team will be

Dhawan, Pujara, Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rahane, Dhoni, Jadeja/Raina, Ojha, Shami, Bhuvaneswar Kumar/ Ishwar Pandey, Stuart Binny/Varun Aaron/Umesh Yadav

i think selectors should also pick players based on "how good they play abroad"    like sehwag with 54.36 average in new zealand should be given chance and no other have got such a good record in newzealand...so selectors should also think about this i believe....

Dhoni knows better than all of us..hez achived everything as a captain...recently he won champions trophy with more or less same team members u mentioned above..give him some time.he proved us many times wrong with his decisions..
