oka question turbotax lo check cheste federal refund 4000 vastundi.. consultant deggara chepiste nene 300 kattali federal ki antunnadu..

enduku itla turbotax lo 4000 refund chupistundi ante adi only 1040 dantlo 1040 NR form vundadu annadu... mari anta difference vuntunda?

Bro...i know why you see difference in turbotax and with tax agent in refunds.

turbotax is assuming that you are filing 1040 and applying standard deductions of $10K, of which 28% you can get refund which comes to 4000 for married person.

But as per IRS, you need to file 1040NR. So you cannot claim standard deductions as an employee in 1040NR. see my previous posts.

If you go to other tax agent, he certainly will help you to do itemized ded. in 1040NR properly and good refund.
