H4 Visa Refused At Hyd Consulate

HI, "Cousin couple marriages are illegal in USA" ani na H4 Visa refuse chesaaru @ hyd consulate (issued 221(g), your application needs additional admin processing before a final decision can be made). Ma husband Ohio lo work chestharu, and Ohio law prakaram first and second cousin marriages are legal ani thelisindhi.

ok 221 g, eh color oh cheppandi, if it is pink, you can check ur case status online as the consulate is awaiting other documentation or verifications from some oder govt organizations, if it is white or blue, cannot do anything but wait until you hear from the consulate. if its a refusal, Im assuming it is, you will have two options to go with

 

1) change the state to a state where by law u r allowed to marry cousins (best bet)

 

2) in case of blue or white 221g they will ask for further documentation, in which you will have to provide them proofs that you are not 1st or 2nd cousin, n then they ll issue a visa.
